Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt and White Flare: The Legends Return!

The Pokémon Company International is introducing the new expansions Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt and Scarlet & Violet—White Flare. The sets will be available starting July 18, 2025.

Split between the Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt and Scarlet & Violet—White Flare expansions, players can look forward to collecting cards featuring 156 Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region. In addition, each Unova Pokémon will be featured as an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare card, found in either Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt or Scarlet & Violet—White Flare.

Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt will feature the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom, while Scarlet & Violet—White Flare will feature the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram. Each expansion will include three different parallel foil sets, two of which will feature a rainbow Poké Ball or Master Ball pattern that will glow across the card. In addition, players can look forward to collecting new cards with features last seen in the Black & White series, including cards with nostalgic foil patterns and basic Energy cards with original Black & White designs.
